BIO
Chris White is a professional musician and teacher who began playing trumpet in 1965. He studied with Perry Friedman in the Chicago area from 1966-71. Chris attended Drury College, now known as Drury University, in Springfield, Missouri, and earned a Bachelor's degree in music education (K-12 instrumental music) in ‘76.
Chris worked as freelance musician/arranger from 1974 - present in a variety of genres. He taught band and orchestra in the Fort Worth ISD from 1997-2016.

SOLA AKINOLA
CELLO, VIOLIN, & VIOLA
BIO
Sola Akinola began his orchestral career as a violist in 2003, but switched to the cello in 2004, and has been playing since. Although his background is in linguistics and Japanese, having earned his bachelor's degree in 2016, he studied music for two years at the University of North Texas in Denton. He is currently the principal cellist for the Mansfield Philharmonic Orchestra, and has played professionally for a variety of events, including weddings and musicals. Additionally, he is a self-taught violinist, having played since 2011.

MATTHEW STRINGER
VOICE, VIOLIN, PIANO
BIO
Matthew has been involved in music from a young age, influenced by his father, an Orchestra Director, and his mother, a Band Director. He has been singing for 10 years, playing the violin for 14 years, and studying piano for 5 years. Currently, he is pursuing a degree in Vocal Music Education at the University of Texas at Arlington and is also an Eagle Scout. Matthew is passionate about both music and teaching, and he is dedicated to inspiring that same passion in the students he works with.
