 Jeh Horton

Jeh founded Mansfield Music Mentors in 2006 after leaving the corporate world in 2005 and building up a personal student load of 80 students while teaching at his home.   In addition to his duties at Mansfield Music, he teaches guitar at Burton Adventist Academy, Pantego Christian Academy,  Northstar School and Children’s University.  Jeh has played guitar, bass, keyboards and sung professionally since 1981.  He designs the guitar and bass courses and assists the other teachers as necessary. He teaches guitar, bass and occasionally piano as needed.



Jeff Bice

Jeff is a graduate of Guitar Institute of Technology, and studied with renowned guitarist Steve Vai. Jeff won the Sam Ash “best in Shred” contest which qualified him to open for Steve Vai, he won the first three rounds of Guitar Center`s Guitarmageddon in 2005, and won the MARS music ultimate guitar showdown. He has played with such notable musicians as Steve Vai, Gary Hoey, Scott Henderson, and performed with Ray Luzier, the current drummer for Korn. In 1994, Jeff’s local band Pokerface was a nominee in the FW Star Telegram “best of” awards, and he currently fronts The Phoenix Project. Jeff is endorsed by DR Strings and Hipshot products, and is part of the Artist Ambassador program for Brian Moore guitars. Jeff’s personal style is based in rock, influenced by jazz, funk, blues, and latin styles, with a smidge of classical. His biggest influences are Joe Satriani, Buckethead, Steve Vai and Jeff Beck.




veronica1Veronica Schramm

Veronica is a Music Education Major at the University of Texas at Arlington, who plays violin in the UTA Symphonic Orchestra. Since 5th grade she has received Division I ratings at UIL Solo and Ensemble, and  was a member of the Region V Orchestra for six consecutive years. Veronica was a member of the illustrious Children of the Strings Orchestra, and the Arlington Youth Symphony growing up. She has been awarded several Director’s Awards, and performed with many groups, gigging around DFW.  Recently married, she loves spending time with her husband, cat, and dog. An avid pianist and violinist, Veronica loves working with kids to share her craft.

Landon Anderson

Landon began teaching at Mansfield Music in 2011 as a 17 year old senior at Arlington High School, and our first “alumni” instructor. Landon has played in various rock bands in the Arlington and Ft. Worth area and performs regularly for weddings and other events professionally as a solo guitarist. He specializes in classical guitar, but is proficient in any genre, including rock, metal and jazz. He also gives lessons in Ukulele, Mandolin and Banjo.
